Sept. 11th
My thoughts and prayers are with those that lost their lives and their families and loved ones. That said, its time to move on. Reliving a tragedy such as this only tends to feed the political machines that use this event to instill fear in the hearts and minds of normally clear thinking people. All too often we take things like this at face value and accept them as an inevitability. We must address all the facts and the main fact that continues to stand out is that our government failed to protect us from attack. However, instead of chastising the party in power for their inabilities, we, as a country, listened to their rhetoric and not only approved of everything they did after, but re-elected them to continue their distorted methods of governing because we were afraid to find something better. In the words of Barack, "Enough is enough!" We can no longer allow fear to dictate our country's direction. We, as a people, must come together and let the politicos in Washington know that their ineptness will no longer be tolerated. The rest of the world is watching us very closely. They have been very dissappointed with us over the last seven years and unless we change our direction completely, we will never again be the world power that the United States needs to be...
